Student Services and Amenities fee (SSAF)
posted by 13 MELB on Wednesday, February 22 2012

In 2012, Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) and Research Training Scheme (RTS) students will be charged the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).

Fee-paying local and international students will not be charged, and students who completed their course in summer semester 2012 will not be charged.

-   Full-time students (overall load of 75 points and above) will be charged $263.

-   Part-time students will be charged $197.

CSP and RTS students with an enrolled load as of Friday 20 April, 2012 will be sent an SSAF invoice, and payment will be due by Friday 11 May.

There is a Commonwealth Loan Scheme available, SA-HELP, allowing Australian citizens and Permanent Humanitarian Visa (PHV) holders to defer their SSAF via the tax system.

Eligible students wishing to defer payment of their SSAF must complete and submit the SA-HELP form, which will be available via the Student portal from April.
