can someone tell me how to do random selections on the cas?? i know its something like randlist( ..

but ive forgotten? any one able to help please?

Do you mean random numbers?  I thought it was just rand()

EDIT:  Disregard what is written above.  I believe I misunderstood you.  If you're using the TI-89, then type in randInt().  In between the brackets put in two numbers (separated by a comma) that you want the random numbers to generate between.

For example, putting randInt(0,99) will generate numbers between 0-99.

If you're using Essentials, I got this information from page 75.  Is that what you're after?

You're welcome.  So I guess you're using the TIN/CP version of the textbook?

Personally, I prefer the Classpad.  I would have bought it if my school didn't get me to buy my TI-89 back in year 9.
