I commend you for doing geography. Do well for atarnotes, and have fun. Because geography is probably the funnest subject I did, strangely enough.

You're in Year 12 I assume? This is my only 3/4 subject, so I'm aiming for a really high score :)

I'm doing geography because I actually enjoy it, many of the other girls in my class (all girls school) only chose it because they thought it was easy pfft.
I can only be easy for those who are interested in it.
Also heard that guys generally do better then girls in geog?

Sorry for the late reply

You're right, I've realised that Geography isn't a "bludge" subject and you also have to be interested in it as well as develop your skills over time. It really isn't a subject filled with lots of lots of rote learning like many people assume.

Guys do better than girls in Geography? I've never heard of that one lol

Anyways, SAC 1B tomorrow, wish me luck :P

Dunno about you but if you ask me I reckon geo is pretty much based on rote, whether it be statistics of storage levels in the mdb, evaluations of policies or simply just even geo characteristics, there's just so much to memorise. The only thing that you actually 'learn' how to use is spatial concepts. Looking forward to unit four though..
