Yes, I reckon it's a huge improvement from the 2nd edition.*  I remember how my eyes went fuzzy after seeing the splash of colours for the first time.

Even though there's not much difference in the questions, I've been told.

Even though there's not much difference in the questions, I've been told.

It looks nicer, but in reality, I almost cried when I had a closer look.

As far as I know, BJT amplifiers and phototransistors have been taken out of the syllabus, but there they are, in the photonics section, the exact same thing slapped on the new design from the old course. How are you meant to understand how phototransistors work if you have no idea what a base voltage is in a npn transistor...?
