ChemCAL glitch?

If anyone has tried a prelab on ChemCAL, have you been able to get your receipt number successfully???

I'm doing chem for biomed and when I finished the prelab for the first experiment (the paracetamol one), I type in my name (first and surname separated by a space) and student number (separated from name by a space) and I click 'get receipt number' and it just hangs and says "please wait..." indefinitely (I tried combinations of my name/surname/student number as well) I can't close the browser tab because then it wipes the session, I've tried on a computer at uni and at home and it just won't seem to work.

Which level of the Chem building do I go to for help with ChemCAL, and when do they have people there to help you with it?

Which browser have you been using? I remember when I was doing Chemistry, it only worked properly on certain browsers, Firefox not being one of them. I remember doing it on IE at home, and Safari at uni.

Go to the labyrinth for help with ChemCAL!

EDIT: Okay, I just finished this and it just keeps saying something like "Loading...Please wait"

I went to the Labyrinth today and tried ChemCAL using Safari on one of the computers there and...
It worked, and gave me a receipt number at the end! Thank God!

Might have to try that then. Least we ca just quickly enter in the answers for most of them now

I've got a similar thing going on with my La Trobe LMS where I get on the quizzes and they just don't work and staff are trying to fix it. Just saying.

Ahh! I'm having problems with ChemCAL! For the 'Recrystallisation of Paracetamol' section, I can't drag the appropriate steps which I need...

You have to drag the steps from the left exactly into the middle of the empty boxes on the right, otherwise it won't let you move them.
