For my context piece, I'm struggling to find external examples to include in my piece. Is it therefore acceptable for me to incorporate the Year 10 and 11 texts that I have done in previous years as examples, or would I lose marks for doing so?

Not too sure about PREVIOUS years' texts, but I do know for a fact that you cannot reference any texts from the Analytical section. Probably best to check with your teacher on this one. For instance, if you're doing the who's reality context, you can't use your text that you elect to write on in Part A of the exam.

I would generally not recommend it :(

Finding external examples is difficult, and requires many hours/days of research. Keep looking for stuff online, google phrases such as "subjectivity studies" (if you're studying Whose Reality), until you find information/studies/phenomenas that make your context piece really interesting.

I found external examples to form the crux of my context piece, it enabled the examiner to enjoy reading my piece, so don't give up and keep researching!
