I was wondering if UV, UV-visible and AAS are both quantitative and qualitative. I was told by my tutor they are both, but my teacher tells me their only quantitative. Need clarification thanks.

uv vis and aas are both quantitative techniques because generally speaking you need to know what the element is to be able to use the correct light source in both instances
