SACs and application tasks aren't usually done as a SAC, unless you are in Unit 1?

If you are in unit 3, I'd suggest picking up A+ Notes for Methods, it has a bunch of extended response questions and normal questions on each topic.

Can someone please inform me as to what an application task is? I have one for methods next term, but I have no idea what they're about.

It's basically the application of maths to solve problems relating to a certain case, it's really similar to a case study if you've done those in Economics.
For example, i know our case study for is going to be on circular functions (specifically an unnamed student is going on a giant swing from camp) and you'll be given information about it (such as the original position being 16m) and you've gotta work with the scenario to give your answers.
