Integration and interpretation of the sensory info?

terrible definition bro

Nervous System: A complex combination of neurons that helps the brain obtain information about what's going on inside and outside of the body and allow the brain to respond appropriately. The nervous system is broken up into the CNS and the PNS.

The CNS - Made up of the brain and spinal cord, receives and transmits messages to and from the PNS.

PNS - all parts of the nervous system apart from the brain and spinal cord, carries messages to and from the CNS.

Brain is the master organ that is responsible for eveything we think, feel and do.

And in relation to Hellrocks' post, the spinal cord 2 main functions are:
1) receives sensory info from the body (via the PNS), and transmits them to the brain (for processing)
2) receives motor info from the brain, and relays it to the body (via the PNS) to control muscles, glands and internal organs.
