Has anyone done the last ILT some of the questions are really stupid...

does anyone know the answers to the following:
The pressure that must be exerted on a solution to prevent the passage of solvent molecules into a solution when the solution and solvent are separated by a semipermeable membrane is called: ?
The term that is used to describe the properties of solutions that are dependent on the number (not the type) of solute particles is: ?

First one is osmotic pressure, second one is colligative. Not sure why the first question would be in a chem ILT but whatevs haha

does anyone know where to find this stuff in the textbooks? Because a lot of it we didn't learn so its a bit weird...

I don't have a textbook lol.

They tell you it in the tutorials, lectures etc.

I think you're better off using Wikipedia and the like, tbh.

That said, there are textbook references at the start of the tutorial booklets - perhaps they'd be useful?

Freezing point depression, colligative cht, mind=blown. Only just looked at my ILT and have never heard of either of those terms before. Wtf is a van't hoff factor?

Likewise.
We have never touched on anything like that before. I know it's meant to be 'independent' learning but having stuff like
that that was not even mentioned, let alone explained, in VCE is just harsh.
