Night classes at uni?

(1/1)

killer_bot:
For undergraduate courses is it common to have the option of doing a class/tutorial at night?
Or is this more common for post-grad courses?

Do any unis operate at night at undergrad level?

thanks

Gloamglozer:
Definitely for postgraduates since some courses need to accommodate for working professionals.

For undergrads, very rarely during the normal semesters I believe.

Never really seen this in any of the timetabling options for the various subjects. You can get a tute/lectures that run late, last year i had a astro lab 5-6pm (not particularly because it was astro and it was dark, it was just that it was scheduled then...never used telescopes or even went outside...all calculations). I don't know if you consider that a night class.

IF you try really hard you can hopefully swing your labs and tutes as late as possible. For undergrads though, id imagine there isnt a strong enough demand. They'd get relatively few people and end up canceling the class anyway.
