Advice for yr 11 Method students???

Does any1 have any advice for me? I'm doing methods in yr 11 and  want to maximize my study score for methods? What can I do right now to help me achieve the highest possible score? any study Techniques??  Do you guys have any regrets that you want to share? Any useful resources or websites that helped you?

Listen in Class. Do ALL THE QUESTIONS in the textbook. Solify your understand of the basics. Write notes regularly, and dont leave it to the last minute (Methods is not difficult if you do bit by bit everyday). I recommend doing the Chapter Reviews at the end of the book. If you get a question wrong, ASK YOUR TEACHER WHY. (Something I didnt do, and now coming to terms with). Work ahead if you can. Really understand everything you are doing.
Basically create good study habits in Methods and work consistently.

My favourite study method for SACs and tests and such at the moment is to do all the exercises for the chapters as normal, then when revising for the test I do the chapter review. Year 11 is a great time to get ahead and putting your mind to it and knowing the content now will save you HOURS in year 12.

Definitely do as many questions as you can, from different textbooks, etc. Talk to your teacher(s) about anything you're struggling with. I had like a 50% average for Unit 1 and 60% Unit 2 due to doing barely any work and I definitely regret it, a lot of Unit 1/2 skills (not necessarily knowledge) will help you next year. Focus especially on getting your algebra and calculus techniques down pat, and try and try to perfect trig, as it won't change for next year.

Do work is class. Make sure that you do every single question in the textbook (including the extended response area in the chapter review which I never did), rather than just the bare minimum of. Ask heaps of questions - email your teacher! It's a great habit to get into, as your teacher is the best resource. I wish I did some extended response questions in year 11.. I'm paying for it now I guess.
