Hey,
Doing psych 3/4 this year...
To all those people who already did this, can you please help me out?
Do you guys know which study guide books are good and useful?
I have A+ notes, do you think they are useful?
What about checkpoints? Do you think they are worth buying?
Are there any other good ones out there? PLEASE help me out...
I want to make the most of having this as my only 3/4 subject this year, and I really want a 40+

THANKS :)

I have checkpoints for unit 3, the majority of the questions are taken from past VCAA exams that  are available on the VCAA website. So yeah checkpoints is a bit of a waste for Unit 3.

Try Checkpoints, it was really helpful for me. A+ notes are also good!

Oh and definitely get the NEAP ones!

Checkpoints is good if you use it throughout the year as study but for study b4 the exam it's useless because it's basically all the past exam questions so you may as well print them all out and do them in exam conditions properly. For psychology it's important to just know your content very well because a lot of it is memory based so don't worry too much abt resources but i would recommend NEAP booklets if they are available for psychology

vashappenin- why didn't i think of that as a user damn it!!! :'(

I have the A+ notes, checkpoints and NEAP. Probably would say that they are all useful resources aside from the textbook of course :)

Stay on topic guys.
I had A+ notes and the studyon ones when I was in VCE.

I too have A+ notes and doing psych currently, I'm actually wondering how do you use the book efficiently?

Honestly once I've created my own notes there is really no need to read theirs, i'd only really be using them for the little mnemonics/acronyms they have or questions?

With the external notes, it's best if you read them and use them to refine yours - make yours better! (:
