Any quick way to smooth out plots?

My class is currently progressing through time series, and the smoothing of plots, including moving mean and moving median and such seems very tedious by hand (5 number average, next 5 number average). Is doing it by hand the best way, or does anyone have any suggestions of doing moving median/mean in the CAS quicker (some formula or something)? Sorry if this seems like a silly question! Would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about seasonal data? If so, you'll soon be learning some formulae to help you out. :)
