similarities and differences

i am having trouble comparing and identifying these methods.
mostly forgeting the equipment invovles in some and what they analyse (ions ot atoms etc.)
and its disadvantages..i have read through all of this but i just cant remember the characteristics very well, can anybody clarify this.
So can anyone please, please!!!! :( :-[ :-\ :'( :buck2: write down all the similarties and differences b/w spectroscopic methods;

AAS, UV, Colorimetry, IR, Mass/spec., HMNR, Flame tests.

I AM REALLY IN PANIC!!!
please help Mao, Colblin...anyone!!!

There's a chance stuff in here is wrong, it's something I typed up last year, over a huge jug of coffee, at 2am in the morning. :) Enjoy
