I don't understand what is a TYPE of management structure and a way to describe it or something

So management structures can be functional, divisional etc... and those are typeS of management structures.
Then what is a hierarchical structure? Is that a type as well or what?

ALSO
With divisional structures...whoever is at the top is like the owner or CEO whether or not it is customer, geographical or products/processes?
and you can only use one division structure in one corporation?

Check out Mr Wood's BM website

http://business.mrwood.com.au/unit3/strurole/strurole1.asp

I struggled to understand the structures as well, but his website helped me

Usually in the SAC, the case study will have a possibility of being a product/functional/geographical structure. You just need to justify why.
