Chemical formula

Need help on writing the chemical formula for something like Zinc Sulfate


Zinc (Zn)= 2+ Sulfate (SO4) = 2-

Would it just be Zn2 (So4)2  then simplifing it further would be ZnSO4

Textbook answer gives me Zn(SO4)2

Should be Zn(SO4) as 1 Zn2+ ion exactly balances out the -2 charge of SO4(2-)
