I found physics harder than my other subjects. It was my worst subject out of my three science subjects (Fundamentals Chem/Chem 2 [didn't do Chem 1], Physics 1/Physics 2: Life Sciences and Biology 1/2) in both semesters of first year. Funnily enough physics was the only one of those subjects I actually did in VCE, the only knowledge I had of the other two were whatever we before VCE. I wasn't very strong at physics in VCE though (think i got 37 raw for Physics in VCE), so you probably had a stronger background than I did. But having done it before, I guess I took physics a fair bit more lightly than my other two (especially semester 2), and I suffered the consequences when I got my final mark.
I personally remember finding the practice exam questions quite difficult when I was doing them, as they required a fair bit of applied knowledge (think that was more semester 2 though), which I wasn't great at yet, in any subject really.
