There is a plethora of math tutorials on YouTube - it truly dazzles me that students are not using the greatest resource that we have.. THE INTERNET. Honestly I've learnt everything to do with my course online. I have no study guides, no checkpoints, no notes, etc. I just do questions from the book, watch videos, and read articles on the concepts. I find that reading over other Maths textbook (which you can download for free with some quick torrent searches) really helps establish my understanding as different authors explain concepts in a different way, the more explanations you are exposed to the better.
If you are really struggling - then perhaps getting a tutor or getting help from your teacher might be a viable option for you. As for me, my teacher is very busy and tutors are too expensive and far for me. So I find the internet to be my most valuable resource.
Next time you are struggling with an concept, exercise or even a chapter, try doing a YouTube search on it and watch a couple of tutorials on it, it could help you a lot.
