Just get as close as you can to 100% in all three sections (ie. try your best), don't use Medentry to build-up any expectations imo.
Actually, I don't think that's good advice for certain sections, particularly section 1. You will not get 100% in section 1. Just accept that for a fact, and you'll actually do better. If you go in expecting to get 100%, you'll end up spending time on difficult questions to ensure you get them right to get the 100%. However, these hard questions are worth more or less the same marks as the easier ones, and as you don't have the time to do every question, so you might as well skip the ones that you're unlikely to get right and get the ones that you're fairly sure you will. I ended up completely skipping about 8 questions in section 1 (almost 20% of the exam!), and yet still managed to get 95 percentile.
This goes with some VCE subjects as well. I went into my first specialist maths exam with the ambitious thought of getting 100% as I had done previously on trial exams. There were certain questions that I just happened to not be able to do on the day (or not under those pressures at least), but I was so determined to get them right so that I could achieve full marks. I ended up sacrificing that question, together with many others that I could have got correct had I just skipped the more difficult one and made sure I got the others right. Big lesson learnt in terms of exam technique, so learn from my mistakes!
