Unit 1 help

Hey all,
I've been given an outcome to do with 'Making a Business Plan'. In this, students will be required to plan for the commencement of a small business. The business can be any business you are interested in eg. restaurant, cafe, health and fitness centre etc.

And i've been having a think and can't come up with a good business to set up. I was thinking Sport shop, but i don't want to get compared to the other 15 people doing it. I have to make a logo, slogan, describe the goods/services offered, pick a location, competition, make financial plans, see if any permits are required etc. pretty much the whole deal. it's worth 30% of overall grade. Just wondering if anyone had some ideas?

Do something you have an interest in.

Probably the smaller the business the easier it would be to complete.

I had to complete a similar task last year and I found it helpful to look at real life company business plans, literally steal their titles, topics etc. but detail each title with your own information.

Keep it short, simple and to the point, cover loads of topics, make it look nice and i'm sure you'll do fine.

Agreed. Choose something you're interested in since it really doesn't matter that much what you choose, and you'll probably have fun in doing this assignment, hence motivating you to spend more time in it and getting a better mark.
