2012 ENGLISH ORAL TOPICS! HELP

Hi Everyone!

I'm really struggling to find a topic that I am interested in for my Unit 3 Oral!
I was originally going to do the topic of 'Gay Marriage'.
But then my school chose to do the issues language analysis on the topic, so I decided against it.

Any possible topics are welcome,
Thanks so much !

I'm doing the topic - should greater restrictions be placed on elderly drivers?
Otherwise I considered:
Should Tasers be issued to general duties police?
Should Australian parents be prohibited from legally smacking their children?
Australian nationals taken hostage: Are the policies and actions of the Australian government adequate?
Should tenants have the right to keep pets on rental properties in Australia?
Should there be greater restrictions placed on high-speed police chases?
Should girls under 16 be allowed into fashion modelling?
Live animal export: are the new recommendations for the export and slaughter of Australian livestock adequate?
Should women be allowed in front line combat positions?

Hope this helps

There's been a lot of issues regarding whether the Government should institute tougher sentencing to reduce crime. This is the oral that I did, and with the right information its a really easy issue to talk about.
