How to structure an oral??

a paragraph per idea?? per example/person??

what are some methods for an effective speech, on how to garner that depth needed...

I don't bother structuring orals based on paragraphs, sentences and all that, I find it becomes too essay-like and formal. It might be different if you want your speech to sound formal, but I tried to reflect a fairly casual tone, so I found it a lot easier and more effective to just speak the oral and write down exactly what you're saying.

This isn't the best example, but this sentence here looks quite clunky in writing: "alright, so I'm not sure if you heard, but [politician name] - just the other day - did [this]", but it sounds quite natural when spoken. Also things like separating sentences into their own paragraph for emphasis.

I also included instructions in my written up oral like [pick up paper] in the middle of sentences.
