 48.38% carbon, 8.12% hydrogen and 53.5% oxygen

Assuming that carbon( 48.38g), hydrogen (8.12g) and oxygen (53.5g),

n(C)= 48.38g/12g= 4.03 mol
n(H)= 8.12g/1g= 8.12 mol
n(0) = 53.5g/ 16g=3.34 mol

carbon: 4.03/ 3.34= 1.2 x 5
                              =6
Hydrogen: 8.12= 2.4 x5
                         =12
oxygen: 3.34/3.34= 1 x5
                              = 5
empirical formula of the compound C6H12 O5

I hope my answer is correct.. =)
