How much does your breadth count towards your GPA?

Say if you got H2B in all your breadth subjects, and H1 in your science subjects? What would the GPA look like in this case vs how it would look for all H1s?
2012-2014. BSc: Neuroscience. University of Melbourne.
2015-2018. Doctor of Optometry. University of Melbourne.

Unlikely to respond to any PMs these days.

Breadth subjects are equally weighted along with your science subjects (though keep in mind that different weighing occurs between first, second and third year subjects)

So your overall GPA would take into account those H1s along with those H2Bs that were racked up for breadth

Depends on what you're applying for, since it's done differently.

Assuming medicine, no difference in weighting, they're counted the same as any other subject.

For masters programs, is GPA worked out across our entire degree/yearly/each semester? And I mean for something quite broad like Law or Management.

What about concurrent diplomas such as DipLang or DipMus? Any effect?

:( No more H2Bs then

average gpa for med tends to be around 6.6 so you can afford about 5 h2b (even more) and that won't even affect you that much depending on what year you score it in. But obviously the higher your gpa the more confident you will be so yeah, but don't be too shattered if you get more H2B ever trust me it doesn;t make a big difference especially in first year for example you may go down from 6.95 to 6.92 but yeah it depends on the year you get the grade because as you may know year 1 is 17% , year 2 33% and 3rd year 50% :)

Yeah my course is spread out over four years (6 bsc subjects + 2 dip subjects per year) with the diploma of language so I don't know how that is going to work :/

All breadths count towards your GPA with the same weight as science subjects. Apparently, to be competitive for MD, you need your GPA to be mid 6 / 7, so that should give you an indication for Physio as well.

AFAIK, they can't even fill the physio spots so I'd be amazed if it was that high.  I may be wrong though...

I was just presuming it would be as popular as MD, however, the you wouldn't go wrong with a >6.5 GPA  ;)

Yeah as stonecold said... i don't think it'd be that high.. the guy i went to speak to after an info session said, you should be aiming for around a 65-70 minimum average which equates to about a 6 GPA right? and because my average is so low atm, that's probably the more realistic one for me to aim for.... smh...
