I'm innocent!

I rocked up to the Bio exam today without a bag, but with a pencil case and a piece of paper that had useless notes on it.

Anyway.
 
2 hours into the exam, I am busting to go to the bathroom. As I walked to the entrance of the bathroom, two people sitting at a desk asked if I had anything in my pocket, I pulled out a packet of gum and that damned piece of paper. I totally forgot I had it in my pocket. They then harshly asked for my name and I.D number, and threw that piece of paper into a pile of what seemed to be other confiscated notes.
 
So what do you guys reckon will happen?

Should I email anyone to plead my case?

Don't do anything irrational. Just wait to see what they do - if they say anything about it, then you could ask for an interview or something to explain what happened. And, if they don't well, no harm done.

How useless were the "useless notes" - if they were completely irrelevant, like directions how to get to the place or some shit like that, it probably won't matter, but if it's related to the subject matter, it'd be hard for you to defend yourself :\

Useless as in none of what was on there would've helped me in the exam, it did contain bio notes.

And I shall wait seretide.

I think
- make a note to yourself of any particular circumstances so you have a detailed case if anything eventuates
- contact 13 MELB / consult website for info about relevant procedures / appeal mechanisms just so you are informed (no need to do anything irrational as seretide said)
- stay calm, don't over analyze and focus on your upcoming exams

Yeah, the main thing is to let it go for now and focus on your upcoming exams- don't become distracted by it

Theoretically if you were planning to cheat then you would have had remembered that you had notes in your pocket and would have not presented it. You should be safe.

Haha yeah they ask you if you have any notes, 'Yeah I have notes, and what are you going to do about it?' i'm sure that would go down well lol.

They won't allow you to explain yourself in an exam, it's not their position anyway, but yeah, just deal with it after all your exams
