Systematic naming

Was wondering... If a compound (eg. CH3CH2(CH3)CH2ClCH3) has a methyl branch and chloro functional group, when we name the compound, is it:
3-methyl, 2-chlorobutane OR 2-chloro, 3-methylbutane. Since it contains a chloro functional group, should it be the 1st option or does the alphabetical order take precedence?

It needs to be alphabetical.

Also, be careful with the punctuations. Commas only between numbers and numbers, hyphens only between numbers and letters. No spaces.

:. 2-chloro-3-methylbutane
