Semester 2 breadth

If I enrolled in all semester 2 subjects at the start of the year (including a breadth), am I able to un-enroll from my breadth subject to enroll in another one for semester 2?

Yes. Go to the portal to 'admin' and find the 'withdraw from enrolled subjects' link. If you don't understand how to do it, just contact the eastern precinct student centre with an email or something

I un-enrolled from my semester 2 breadth subject, i haven't enrolled in anything yet, i'm going to go through them all and make a wise decision this time

I have one subject I can't choose for science, any ideas anyone? I can't do maths, too much pressure. (going to do chem and bio)

have you considered physics, MBB2 and there is an optometry one, for frist sem it was called how the eyes see the world, i'm not sure what the second sem one is though...

for core subject. Heard a lot of bad things about physics, I did 'vision: how the eyes see the world' but I think next terms opto one is an extension on some of the stuff we did this sem, which I kind of hated. What is MBB2?

Vision is ok, again a lot of content but the next semester vision subject won't be similar to the one we're doing now. The one we are doing now is about anatomy moreso. The other called 'from rainbows to digital imaging' deals with (according to the handbook) is about dealing with light in way more depth than what we did this sem, and technology and what not.

sounds boring...if i don't find anything i'm going to stick with MBB2-cosider that, next sem it's about intelligence and personality, it should be good

when is the due date that we have to put our subjects in by? i haven't decided on my 3rd science (chem, bio, x).

what would a good science be for pharmacology? is physics for biology any good? anyone done it?

If Monday 25 July - Sunday 30 October is the time for the whole semester, than maybe 2 weeks after the 25th of july you'd have to finally put your subjects in, i'm pretty sure that's what happened at the beginning of semester 1

You shall hear even more now from me. Physics is a nightmare. The tutes are completely pointless; they throw you a question sheet that simply cannot be completed in an hour and give you a tutor who's most likely a PhD student with no teaching experience (At least in my case; he would stumble to explain things and leave mid-way through explaining something to help the other 10 people with their hand up). The lectures and lecturers are unhelpful, even with 2 different lecturers to cover each half of the semester. And, there is a lot of content. A lot of boring content. Surprisingly I learned more in labs than tutes and lectures combined. Terrible, terrible subject.

Okay, now I don't feel as though I am at that much of disadvantage with not doing physics for the gamsat. I will teach myself.

Are we allowed to do Level 2 subjects this semester?

Sure can, as long as you have done then prerequisites for that level 2 subject (if there are any).

I also agree with the Physics post above, not a fan of the subject.
