For example, Na2Co3, in which you would be added 23 x 2(2- no. of sig figs), and 12(2) and 16 x3(2). and given that the information u are using has 3 and 5 sig figs like you said, you would round off to 2 sig figs then or would it still be 3?

Actually the molar mass of sodium given in the data booklet is 22.9, and carbon and oxygen are 12.0 and 16.0 respectively. Just a heads up.
Unless I'm going blind, pretty sure sodium is given as 23.0 in the data book?
