I was just doing a stav paper and the questions says:
Find the average volume of the concordant titres:
                   16.87 16.15,17.03and 16.93

I thought all the values were concordant but the soultion says only 16.87,17.03 and 16.93 were.
I'm so confused :S. Help please?

you take the 3 which is the closest together for average titre, in this case 17.03,16.93 and 16.87.. 16.15 canbe seen as an outlier ;)

Yeh heinemann textbook say between 0.1ml. I remember seeing this question, it's a bit dodgy, probably best to ignore it. Its unlikely that VCAA would put titre values as dodgy as these ones.

It's a pretty stupid question. Usually speaking, concordant titres are supposed to be between +/- 0.10mL, but seeing as this guy who did the titrations sucks, the value seems to be +/- .16ml.

Yeh you can have four as long as they all fall within the range for concordant titres
