Hi guys. I just completed the 2010 TSSM exam and passed a question that asked me:
Compound X is either ethene or propene.
Determine which it is. Show your working

I ended up with the wrong answer due to incorrectly typing my results in the calculator and therefore choosing the wrong compound. The question then asked me to draw the molecule, it's isomers and state the molecular formula. If I continued using the wrong molecule would I lose all the marks.

This question was worth 11 marks. :(
