Since midyears are over, why don't we all put our focus in unit 4?
Just wondering if anyone could clearly explain key concepts such as equilibrium and such like, here.
My idea, is that we teach each other (as someone learns it, they write what they have learnt -thereby vocalising and reinforcing the key ideas in their minds).
Thushan, get on board:)

Its worth a try guys.

I like this idea...I really like this idea. To complement Mao's notes, have a quick peek at mine - they're on the "Notes" section of ATARnotes!

As for little tutorials, how are they going to run?

Hmm, this will be very difficult...esp for me - I'm ridiculously busy this semester...!
How about this instead? We have an ATARnotes CLASS. Each week we cover topics at our (our being ATARnotes') own pace. We can work off my notes (but issue is my notes only have sulphuric acid instead of other acids). Then say every Saturday night we can get together and open a thread and discuss stuff, I can post questions from my resources off the spot, and you guys can have a go at them?

Guys any tips for teaching a class as my teacher is gone for a week and I must take over. Already finished the equilibrium  laws, exo and endo reactions and with what affects the rate of an reaction. Sadly, I am not getting a parking spot, money or even allowed to go to the teacher's meetings. I also now Le Chatters principle (name is most likely spelled wrong.

LOL I had to do the same thing for our English Lang class!

For Le Chatelier's - get the students to derive it and work out the pattern themselves. Use Q, K and relative forward and back reaction rates to explain how factors affect the equilibrium system, then ask the students "work out a quick way to memorise this" and one of them will say "it seems as though every change you make is offset somewhat!"

then you go "BINGO!" you just derived Le Chatelier's Principle.

That's what I plan to do in my tuition classes!
