Is music hard to learn if you know very little about it?

Dont worry. Its quite easy to learn, if you love music you will be able to do it. Trust me, I LOVE theory more than practical now

The thing is, with performing you have to keep in mind that you have to comply with a criteria, so people who could be considered as awesome or unique and could probably make a living out of music aren't necesarily going to score the highest marks. Theory isn't difficult to learn but if you haven't had much experience with it then it can be hard to be really good at.
Having said that the course is really fun, so just go with it for a semester, work hard and see how your marks go/if you enjoy it etc. :)

The main thing to bear in mind is that you should be enjoying performing. I have a friend who hates playing the cello, so she got a very low ss for the subject because she couldn't be bother practicing.
