I'm trying to go ahead of my class and I'm stuck.
I have started Ch.10 and I'm finding it tricky.
Any ideas how to focus on this chapter, because i wanna give up?

This is referring to "Cambridge Essential Further Mathematics - Third Edition"

Pay close attention to all of the notes. Difference equations become very easy once you get the hang of them.
You must understand Arithmetic and Geometric Sequences and Series thoroughly before attempting Difference Equations (although i'm assuming you would have covered that by now)
My main tips for Difference Equations would be
-Being able to identify which Difference Equation corresponds with which Sequence Type (Refer to the diagram on page 330, that sums up everything)
-Be able to generate Sequences on your calculator with ease, and this also includes the Fibonacci Sequence and Lucas Numbers

See the attachment for calculator steps that you must become familiar with (Geometric, Arithmetic and Difference)

You might get some if you weren't so rude. Perhaps thank people for their input first? More detail would help as well. Which part of the chapter are you having troubles with? Any particular concepts? You say it's tricky, then you say you can't focus. Is it a problem with the content or a more general motivational problem?

anyways,

yendall's right, the more questions you do the better you will get at them, my advice is to get help from your teacher if you dont understand the concepts properly. i did that as well but i found that when my teacher explained it to me i had a much clearer understanding. This may or may not work for you, but hey its work a try ;D

in my opinion though, as you get deeper into this module i thnk it is so much easier than the core.....just by a fraction though :P

In my very honest opinion, this is not a difficult chapter at all. If you're having trouble, I'd highly advise you to wait until the rest of your class catches up. :)
