Ill be finishing unit 4 in two days. Should I jump into trials or do questions like neap smartstudy first?
Also what chemical is the best to do as I studied all of them and they all look good.

probably to best to chill for the last week of the school holidays then start doing some trials, also i think one of the acids is the better chemical (not 100% tho)

I can't judge, but make sure you understand everything very well. I would say go to other questions first and see is there any refinement required. It is a good idea to have a look at an exam or two just to have a very general gist of the difficulty and time management techniques you would like to adopt. Exams in my opinion should be done when you are pretty much confident and anything you learn is just to add on to your current knowledge, not a learning tool where you start understanding new concepts.

Most schools do sulfuric acid. Apparently, it is the easiest.

good work  for finish unit 4 course. I think u should start with neap study guide first. Moreover, i long did it take u finish the course . each chapter takes me a week to understand perfectly .

My plan is finish the chemistry course by September 30. So i have 1 one month for the trial exams . Any opinion about my plan....

Can anyone please explain how exactly catalysts work? I understand they lower the amount of activation energy required thus speeding up the rate of a reaction, but how?
Also, why aren't relative energies of reactants and products affected by catalysts?

catalysts lower the activation energy by offering an alternate reaction pathway ...effectively speeding up reaction (which would otherwise take a longer time)

the product formed is still the exact same product formed without the catalyst so the enthalpy remains the same( the energy of the system ), the same applies for the reactants

Just stick with whichever chemical your school is studying.
