Foundation subjects - requirements

I recently transferred from one double degree to another. It says in the transfer email, Student must complete three units from: ENG1010, ENG1030, ENG1040 or ENG1050 to meet first year requirements in engineering. I already completed ENG1030 this year semester 1, and will complete ENG1050 this coming semester.

The handbook on the monash website for eng/comm, says students must complete 6 first year engineering units. So I was wondering with my last choice, could I do a foundation subject instead of ENG1010 or 1040? I just want something easy so I can meet the requirements. I've already done PHS1011 and MTH1030 which means foundation chemistry is my only choice. However I did do chemistry in year12 (which is a prohibition) but I did get a crappy score ( ~30). So would WES let me enrol in foundation chem?

Wouldn't it look dodgy, if I were to start a foundation subject this late(2013 semester1) ??
