Carlscum don't know sh1t!

Training is the process of teaching staff how to perform their job more effectively and efficiently by boosting their knowledge and skills. Training is more skill based. A good training program will assist in the effective management of staff by reducing the time lost due to lost time injuries per year. This is because staff are trained and competent in their areas of expertise.

Development is about preparing employees for taking on more responsibility in the future.
Development is more knowledge based. This helps the effective management of staff because the organisation has a greater ability to cope with change. This is the employee has a large knowledge base which enables them to work in a variety of departments within the organisation.
