I do the Legal one for CPAP, so in a shameless plug I can say that I work hard to make it really practical and useful!
[Update: full for 2018.] I give Legal lectures through CPAP, and am an author for the CPAP 'Legal Fundamentals' textbook and the Legal 3/4 Study Guide.
Available for private tutoring in English and Legal Studies.
Experience in Legal 3/4 assessing; author of Legal textbook; degrees in Law and English; VCE teaching experience in Legal Studies and English. Legal Studies [50] English [50] way back when.
Good luck!

Lectures for Enlgish are terrible in general. But FlorianK has bit the nail on the head on the maths ones :)

I'm prolly going Derrick Ha for Methods. In terms of English, go with VATE. I don't plan on it myself but I went to a VATE lecture for Lit last year and that was kinda fun, it was some really good discussion. Access looks like it might be really good too. The general English lectures are pretty useless but those that focus on specific texts can be useful.

I'm doing a day-long exam workshop for Legal with CPAP during the holidays. It's more expensive, but it's the full day. I'm not going to bother hyping it for you because I think a more sensible option for making your decision is seeing if you like my Legal posts here!

With the lectures, I know two out of the three lecturers giving the VCTA one, and as a colleague I can say I have a lot of respect for them and am confident they know what they're talking about.

Derrick Ha is the most superior for Methods imo.

Also, for legal -> VCE Legal Studies lecture: Expression of interest thread :)

You pay books and lectures separately

Yeah I was wondering if we don't buy the book, maybe we would be at a disadvantage? On the site it's suggesting that you need to get it as it 'complements' the lecture. Hopefully that is not so :P
