Interested to see what it's like. Anyone please share any information that you have about doing psych as a major/breadth in commerce.

You won't be able to do psychology as a major in Commerce; however it can be done as a minor or as a breadth. The majors available in Commcerce at Melbourne are; Actuarial Studies, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management or a Business major. Perhaps you are referring to a B.Arts degree?

Oh that's interesting. I actually didn't realise a psych major was possible through a B.Comm given the relatively few breadths you get each year. Thanks for the link.

I think he meant that because you only get 1 breadth per semester that most people didn't know that it was possible to do a psych major out of those breadths.
2010: Accounting [45], Legal Studies [42]
2011: Methods [38], English [41], Chem [37], Revolutions [44], Vietnamese [22]

Actually B.Com is one of the most generous degrees in terms of breadth.  They can do up to 100 points of breadth if I am not mistaken.

Hence why I think the psychology minor is possible.

Didnt do psych is thats what you are asking.  But currently doing a rather unique dbl major of economics/accounting with an aim of getting into the economics honours program.  Not liking macro 2 atm (how the hell does an increase in govt spending plus a tax hike of the same amount increase gdp overall?????) so that goal might be altered if things go pear shaped in the subject.
