What do you do when you need to use a previous answer for a proceeding question - do you use an exact value or a value rounded to two decimal places? In the real world, I don't think there's much place for calculations involving part of a cent. :/

Your answers should be rounded to 2 (unless stated otherwise) but all the figures used in calculations are the unrounded ones.

See, my teacher told me otherwise, because in the real world, banks do not round monetary figures. Now I'm confused. :S

If you look up assessor reports and previous exams the answers should be rounded off to 2, unless they say something like round off to the nearest dollar. As far as I know, you should use the unrounded for your calculations and then the rounded figures for your final answers. I got 100% over both exams for Business Maths so unless something has changed this year then that shouldn't be a problem.
