How achievable is a 40 in German?
(1/1)
sverik25:
I really want to get a 40, but I know someone who got a 99.55 ATAR but got a 41 in German. I'm not sure whether I'll be as dedicated as them. How achievable is a 40 and how much effort do you think would be required?
aes_999:
How achievable: very.
How much effort needed: none whatsoever, if you're German.
Jokes aside, there's an enormous effort that you require to be good at German. You'd better ask our med resident Thushan here, he's got a 40+ on German.

Very achievable, if you love it. I started learning German in year 7 without any background at all. Ended up getting full marks on the oral in year 12 and quite well on the written and got a 45. You just need to remain consistent :)

Simply post some written texts of yours on the board here and I'll do my best to get you up to a 40+ standard :D
