Value of English Lectures [question]

Worth it? I'm going to Access/TSFX lectures for Psych, none for Theatre or Further, and I'm undecided on any English lectures.
Both Access and TSFX are running text-specific lectures and at the moment I'm probably going to go to all four for Access and undecided on TSFX.

My honest opinion? Nope, not at all.
Personally, I find reading the book, discussing it and reading the studyguide and then formulating my own opinion more beneficial. I therefore do most of the required work myself. I don't like being spoonfed, past tricks of the trade of what others have used. I guess it may help, but the examiners will reward you with what fresh food you have brought to the table. Look at how effectively you study on your own, and then judge:)

Yeah I'm pretty independent with my English work, just wondered whether it would be a nice addition. My school's traditionally one of the worst in the state with the exception of 2011, so my current way of thinking is maybe I'll pick something up that I wouldn't have used otherwise (maybe introductions are only meant to be like 80 words, and who knew?)
Ever been to a lecture Nisha?

TSFX English lecture sucks!! no joke. I went to their summer school lecture and it was absolutely useless;got noting out of it. Waste of money and time.
