Do you memorize definitions word for word? Conceptual Questions are not to memory dependent however I do sometimes go blank on ambiguous Questions asking to explain the term 'x'.

Do you worry so much about key words in a definition?

Key words are what get you the marks. Eg you won't get a mark on the semantic network theory if you leave out "hierarchically structured" "nodes" and "meaningful links" (I think those are the key words lol). I don't really try to remember them, for the most part it sticks in my head and gets sorted out during prac exams. Use look, say, cover, write, check method though.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

Like Brenden said, key words are what they are looking for and this is what I try to remember. I just use good old maintenance rehearsal for them

Don't really memorize them word for word, but I do try to remember the key words through understanding how the key words relate to the definition for the word I'm trying to remember (i.e. I break the definition down).

If I was to memorize definitions word for word, it would mean (in my case):

* rote learning, which is not really efficient

* that I don't actually understand what the psych term means
