I wouldn't say they do more harm than good, but what's so bad about people being barefoot...?

I just hate looking at feet lol
How about your own feet?

Feet= all feet

I just hate looking at feet lol

What's so bad about this?

There are things I hate looking at too, like the Menzies Building, but I get over it? :P

I reckon people should be allowed to go without shoes if they so please, just don't sue the uni when they walk over something sharp!

IDK they just are.

Yeah, but just because you don't like looking at something doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed.

It's like saying I don't like looking at snapbacks and hence, they should be banned - you know, that's not exactly reasonable

How do you get by, day-to-day? :P

Anyways, I think from a practical perspective, there's no real cause for concern, btw, by your logic, would you say ban thongs...etc. as well?

^ never argued for banning walking barefoot, just expressed my dislike if that were ever the case.

Of course I recognize their function, but i'm talking about appearance- alright perhaps I should take back the comment about saying I hate them.

No, thongs are good shoes to wear when you can't be bothered putting on runners (although they aren't the most practical shoe, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flip-flops#Health_and_medical_implications)

Yeah, I realised you never argued for banning them, I just kinda lost track of what this whole thread was about after I went to sleep last night - my bad.

Nah, I knew you were talking about appearance, but it's really random :P

I don't see how I was aggressive at all? It's just because when I'm typing quickly I don't bother to write everything out in full, so looks like I'm being abrupt/angry...etc. doesn't mean I am.

Or, would you rather me say:

In my opinion, I don't believe that, neither can I see how, I was being aggressive at any point during my discussions on this thread, it just happens to be that when I am typing quickly, I tend to skip over the little nice words, not writing sentences out in full, giving the impression that I am being abrupt or to an extent, even angry, even when I don't have that intention at all.

(See my point? :P)
