Why?  What's up?

If you're gonna ask which subjects, it's dependent on the semester, enrolment numbers for all the subjects which have exams in the exam period and luck.

If you're gonna ask if it is good, it depends.  I had an exam on the very last day on Friday of the third week.  It was good because uni was very quiet but it also sucks because almost everyone is on holidays and you've still got one exam to smash out.

If you're gonna ask what happens, well nothing much.  It's just scheduled that way and unless the world ends or your exam venue suffers from an unfortunate event, then it'll still go ahead.  It's just another exam.

Ahk, I'm applying to spend our winter break at Stanford University over their summer semester before I begin an exchange at the University of California starting in our semester 2. The problem is, next year's academic calendar is 1 week later than this years, which is really annoying, meaning that if I have an exam on the 3rd week, I have to pull out of Stanford Summer and start my exchange in August/September.

So what I am going to do is apply, and then when exam timetables come out I'll hopefully not have anything on the 3rd week. If I do, I can send them an annulment form and get my fees back, but I really want to go.

Next semester I'm doing Engineering Comp, Engineering Mech, Engineering Maths and probably Finance 1. They would be relatively large enrolments (hopefully) so HOPEFULLY they run on the first 2 weeks. Could anyone that has done these subjects give me an indication?

The exam timetable from last semester is still up if you want to see when those subjects had their exams this year;

Obviously I don't think they're a great indication of how they will be next year.

Actually those are the dates for supplementary exams (in July). Thanks anyway though. Anyone else have an experience with this topic?

All the Eng subjects you mentioned were at the back end of the exam period last semester. I have a friend who was doing Eng Maths, Comp and Mech as well as Spanish who had 4 exams in the 3rd week!

Ouch. That's disappointing. Hopefully it's different next year.

Nope, I apparently don't find out till sometime next year (just finished off my exchange essay for my application today. Had to edit it so many times to reduce the cringe factor hahah). How amazing is Penn?  :)

SO FREAKING AMAZING!
It's so good, I love it here. I went to my first football game yesterday! And last week my friends and I went to New York for a weekend, only took us two hours to get there :D
The entire campus is so beautiful and all my classes are interesting and it's just so awesome.

I hope you get a great deal on the campus!
