Haha.

But IMO (not that i'v come close to doing it):  mainly lots of hard work, some talent, and a bit of dumb luck.

An excellent memory, super-fast writing and sophisticated, clear structure... and a whole lot of dumb luck. What is it, around four people who get 100% on the exam each year??

One does not simply lose zero marks on the Legal exam.
[Update: full for 2018.] I give Legal lectures through CPAP, and am an author for the CPAP 'Legal Fundamentals' textbook and the Legal 3/4 Study Guide.
Available for private tutoring in English and Legal Studies.
Experience in Legal 3/4 assessing; author of Legal textbook; degrees in Law and English; VCE teaching experience in Legal Studies and English. Legal Studies [50] English [50] way back when.
Good luck!

repetitively memorising theory, keep reading over and over and over your legal notes until you already know what you're going to read before you even read it.

if that even makes sense haha.

oh yeah, and fast writing + alot of luck!

edit: having the right structure when answering questions is priceless - either your teacher, or a well written study guide, will help you with that.
