Bullet-points on exam?

I was just wondering do assessors accept/prefer bullet-point answers on some of the short answer questions, or is it better to write concisely but without inserting the bullet-points? I find them easier to use as I tend to be long-winded at times.

Bullet points are definitely acceptable, and a good way to keep things concise. Often I'd end up something like

* sentence about point 1
* sentence about point 2
* sentence about point 3

You don't want to sacrifice on detail though, for questions that aren't something like "list", one word answers wouldn't answer the whole question.

If it was an advantage/disadvantage question, sometimes I'd break it up into a format like:
Advantages: blahblahblah
Disadvantages: blahblahblah

For the longer questions, and the 8-marker, I prefer full sentences though.
