Factors affecting water use MDB

THIS IS A STRATEGY SORRY, NOT MANAGEMENT POLICY ALREADY EXISTING
What you can do is add a Strategy policy that you've created. After that, you need to be able to show how practical it is, and how sustainable it is to the local resource.
It can be as ridiculous as mine is - Waterfront City (Harbour Town) - the place where it has that wheely thing. A management policy could be having a helicopter patrol the area at night. Then you say it's not sustainable and justify it by saying that the costs of having such a policy is relatively high, and alternatives such as simply more security cameras or a curfew in that area would be more sustainable and practical, as it does not take too much money and helicopters are noisy and will disturb local residents.
A more practical one, would perhaps be putting more posters around for ads on what's being sold
rh:
could you use one that has already been implemented? or is the point to use the one you made up in the fieldwork sac?
asdfr:
I am pretty sure you cannot make up your own management policies....
Also tripz, isn't your management policy a strategy? I always get confused between the two, but I am pretty sure that what you have made up there is a strategy.
ben4386:
heres a tip for you guys although you may already know
study design states that you need to be able to evaluate the practicality and sustainability of a policy, so you need to have a policy that is able to be evaluated in both these areas,
also the policy should be aimed to mitigate or change impacts from resource use,
i.e. you have an impact of people using a resource causing pollution and litter, a policy may be to mitigate the effects of pollution, one strategy would be to place more bins, see how the policy relates to the impact
asdfr:
So Ben, when you are asked to evaluate a policy, you state what the policy is and then a strategy relating to that policy correct? Then do you go on and evaluate the strategy?
