hey! i dont quite agree with the solutions to this question. can anyone have a go and tell me what their getting as an answer and why?

If I recall correctly, this is the last question from the 2010 MAV Exam 2 paper. Yeah, the solutions were dodgy for this one. I have attached my correction to the question.
