Identity and Belonging- Coming up with big ideas.

I was just wondering how you guys are brainstorming to come up with some good ideas because I'm very stuck at the moment and can't generate a sustained idea..my ideas are breaking apart from some point...and I don't think it is because of expressing themselves but probably because I have no ability in language ...for both English and Turkish. Even if I tried to express my thoughts in Turkish, that way didn't work either. And I started speaking at the age of 3...could that be the root of the problem ?

I'm quite sure that starting to speak with the age of 3 is not the problem. Additionally not being a native speaker shouldn't be a problem, particularly for having good ideas.
Even though I don't think this is the best idea. I do Growing up Asian for context. After reading the prompt I generally think about 4+ stories, which would fit to the prompt. Then I think about what facette of the prompt that particular story represents.

I question the prompt.

Example: 'It is through conflict that we grow'

Questions I ask myself: Why do people grow from conflict? How does conflict affect individuals differently? How do people respond to conflict? Is there a conflict that resulted in loss rather than growth? What do we gain from suffering?

I find this technique helps me think of ideas for a given prompt.
